English Class Blogging

Hi Readers!
Its Sarah here, again in English class. Just finished yet another blog post about Romeo and Juliet. This week was exciting! On Wednesday, I got tweeted by Kristin Chenoweth I love her, I almost screamed while in the hospital. Then on our way out I met the Morquio patients from Iraq they were so sweet! Then on Thursday, I got a detention because my teacher thought I was cheating and went to one of  the Assistant Principals about it, I don't have to go to detention but I will, I can't afford to get a zero. Well, the school announcements are on.
Love,
Sarah

Quick Post!

Hey!!

Its Sarah, coming to you from First Period (Again, why do I always end up blogging during English class?) This weekend was BORING! I only hung out with my sister and her boyfriend. I am rereading Harry Potter,  and I am on Chamber of Secrets, which is my least favorite of the series, I just despise Lockhart, he is so ignorant and rude. I signed up for a part in Romeo and Juliet for Act 3, I am Juliet!!! WOO! I am so tired and bored this morning, its a work period which of course means I got everything done early while everyone else was talking. I am good at that kind of stuff! Well I better go, I leave you with an Essay about Me!

When you see me, you may think my life is a cake walk, but it’s the complete opposite of easy. Everytime I go to my doctor I fear a chance of surgery. I walk funny, because I have pain and its not because I did something. Its because right now at the age of 14, I have arthritis, a disease that causes pain . I throw my shoes off, because my feet get overheated even when wearing flip flops . I don’t want this for myself or my children when I get older . That’s why I joined an experimental drug study . To create a better future for me, my friends, and my family. So now; every Wednesday, I sit in a sterile room with nothing to do. Tired and hot, I fight off sleep so that my parents don’t feel so alone. People say “ at least you’re not in school” I’d rather be in school, there I’m treated like a normal person, rather than a guinea pig. I couldn’t sleep if I wanted to. I try, but every 15 minutes I get awakened by the dreaded thermometer, followed very closely by its friend the blood pressure cuff. But I cannot give up.

Love,

Depressed Right now

Hey Readers,
I'm really stressed out right  now, I just need relaxing. Some of my teachers are stressing me out and not catching me up, and others are so kind and sweet. Peer pressure, mainly to loose weight. I really just need a break from it all.

Sincerely,

A Stressed Dwarf queen, Sarah

Boring Weekend

Dear Readers,
My weekend was rather boring. On Friday I was brought to the garden plot that we have, where we grow wheat, corn, potatoes, greens and other vegetables, I like most of the produce, my parents will only tell you the few I don't like, Kale, Cabbage, Brussels sprouts, turnips, beets and chard. But I like the majority. Then I stayed home and pampered myself by just sitting around and being lazy. I didn't blog on Friday because the only thing to report was, sitting at home watching videos, and no reaction. But there was also my huge panic attack, I had a math test and my parents thought my teacher said I had to get an A or I'd fail. So I went hysterical, crying and shaking. I studied most of Thursday night.

So I got done with my test and sat in the bathroom and cried. I really hope we aren't getting our tests back today, cause no matter the grade, an A+ or an F, I might just kill myself over this, not literally of course, but stress is a serious killer. On Saturday, Danielle's birthday celebration, we went out for dinner at Brickyards, then I came home and just played on my computer.

Yesterday, I went to the gym. My ankle is still a problem, so I only walked 1/16th of a mile, and then rolled my wheelchair 1/2 a mile. My arms felt like Jelly!!!! I better go! Second Period awaits!

My Weekend!

Dear Readers,
It is me, Sarah. I have just got home from school on Monday. This weekend was interesting, on Friday my sister came home Again <3 YAY! Saturday, we went to a goat open house. I got to hold a baby goat which was so cute, feed a goat, his lips tickled, I got to ride a pony, WESTERN! I also watched baby goats faint. It was so cute. Then yesterday we went to Gettysburg, I climbed up three sets of spiral steps, made of marble. MY MOMMY JUST TOLD ME RILEY (THE PONY I RODE YESTERDAY)'S OWNER WANTS ME TO HELP HER WITH PONY CARE! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH YAY And my math teacher laughed at me for freaking out about a tick.

The Dwarf Queen,

Here we are in Gettysburg posing next to a statue of my favorite President, Abe Lincoln

Again from First Period

Hey lovelies!
Its Sarah here in 1st period again, *May I just say, Mrs.Kennedy is absolutely amazing?* I'm going to tell you about yesterday's infusion. I stayed up pretty late on Tuesday night being on Tumblr and Twitter, so I slept the whole 1.5 hours to get to my hospital. If you are my friend on Facebook, you'll know my temp has been elevating (the degree to decrease my fluid is .5 degrees C), an uncommon reaction which only 4 other people in the world got.  So my doctors keep me there until the medicine is completely in my body and I am getting a flush, typically my reaction doesn't happen until I'm at the point of 30ml/min. We always start at 3 milliliters per minute and take my temp every 15 minutes until we get to the final one, 30ml/min. Well yesterday I was very tired, and my temp elevated at 6 ml/m. So they kept it at three until my body wasn't hot. That ended up taking 8 hours, I slept for a bit during treatment and then the whole ride home, I got home and was INCREDIBLY grumpy.

Well I best be going, second period is starting in 4 minutes and I have to go to the basement!

Much Love,

                         Sarah
